I’ve just read Seveneves by Neal Stephenson. The ending was abrupt and I am now annoyed that there is no sequel. 🫤. What’s the German word for an abrupt ending you were totally unprepared for because you were reading on a kindle and didn’t have the tactile feedback of the physical pages dwindling?
Finally made some last ‘adjustments’ to the camera brackets for the laser. Now I can use the cameras to set focus and position the workpiece for the laser. Now to just calibrate everything.
I had a large group over this weekend for a hobbyist meetup and she was really well mannered (except for the one guy she wouldn’t let in to the yard). But now is too pooped to pup.
My sister never calls. So when I saw the missed call at 04:23 this morning, I did NOT assume she’d Siri dialed ‘Sam’ and instead of calling her husband Sam like it always does, it dialed me and she hung up immediately. But that’s what I should have assumed. 😵💫
My wife sent me this pic from FB with the comment,“beautiful, wouldn’t that be nice“. I pointed out it was fake, the MC Escher sink, the weird chair backs center and right, the odd ‘stuff’ on the plates, the weirdness of the tree…. She’s stopped talking to me. Ask me for more marriage tips. 😅
