I must admit that I've seen neither movie, but am genuinely intrigued by what I've read regarding Megalopolis.
Yeah my position (for now!) having watched it is if you are interested in film as a medium in any way you really should be see it, but if your interest in movies is more general or just want something to watch, regardless of your taste, I wouldn't recommend it.
