Part 1: Why April?

Three tweets: Part 1: Why April? The idea that S3 could air in Spring 25 has been around for a while (in my head at least), with the infamous 324 theory making a brief comeback in Feb 2024. Even then, there was a steep drop off in ToC being able to feed us clues post S2, less to theorize with (includes the following quote tweet) Kevin Angus @GradeKangusBeef • 2/28/24 *starts dusting off my 324 theory for March 24th 2025* Tweet 2 We were able to have some relief from this drought in April 24, around the time of JordanCon. A subliminal crumb of evidence to support "Spring 2025" had finally come!! "But Kevin, you keep saying March but have April at the top?" Yes, why April? (Includes the following quoted tweet) The Loneliest Gai'shain@shain_gai • 4/4/24 11 months from today would be March of 2025. In other words: 3/25. Didn't we see those numbers pop up before somewhere?
Three tweets: Tweet 1 It's no secret among WoT fans that we all felt the impact the strikes had on the marketing for WoT S2. Cancelled SDCC panels, rushed press junket interviews, and likely more we will never realize was lost. Despite this, WoT S2 persevered and still saw critical success & retention Tweet 2 So in the eyes of the market strategists, WoT withstood CV19 for S1 to succeed in Dec '21 WoT withstood WA & SAG strikes for S2 to succeed in Sept '23 If this is how well it has done despite massive sandbags attached, how well could it do if given that Fallout slot in Apr '25? Tweet 3 This is primarily what leads me NOW to land on April over March, though truly either is great. Another small clue we did get this post by Prime Video AU/NZ which included "don't have to wait til May" in early September! Our local fave, @SulinGoshien, shared with me that - showings for this show could begin around end of June '25 (~June 28th) - subtract 10 weeks prior to opening for rehearsals would be ~ April 19th. - this leaves Ms Pike free to promote WoT S3 til ~ Apr 19th (Includes following quoted tweet) National Theatre @NationalTheatre • 9/24/24 Inter Alia in the Lyttelton / 2025 From the team behind #PrimaFacie, Rosamund Pike (Saltburn) leads the cast as an eminent High Court Judge forced to reckon her professional life and role as wife, mother, friend and feminist in Suzie Miller's new play, directed by Justin Martin. Tweet 2 Rosamund Pike remains one of the biggest names in The Wheel of Time cast, so ensuring she is available for marketing, press, late night talk shows, would be of the utmost importance. So if WoT Premieres April 10th, she's there for all the marketing build up through March.
Three tweets Tweet 1 And now for the final speculation component of this theory: JordanCon The Guy Roberts Wot convention tour was a huge success, and a great trial run for future cast to join us. However, these guests are not cheap to book, so l imagine that's why it's been uncommon outside ComicCon Tweet 2 So it stands to reason that if we want to see MORE cast members at our smaller conventions, ticket prices would increase to allow this.
