The film is absolute bonkers but I’m glad it exists and that I saw it at the cinema. Agree it was far more sentimental than I was expecting but I found that endearing.

Threads isn't available in most European countries for valid reasons. It's also shedding active users at a rapid rate according to some articles. Maybe "slow and steady wins the race"

Barbie conversely felt like an indie comedy with a big budget. It made me laugh way more than I thought it would. All the acting was fun and spot on. I felt it had more substance. There is a great line about being a facist that made me laugh out loud but seemed to pass the rest of the audience by.

Oppenheimer fluctuated between tedious and great. Overall it failed to engage me. I'm not entirely sure Nolan's use of time helped the narrative drive. And the ending which I guess was meant to be devastating fell flat for me. Also some of the dialogue was not great.
