feelin' pretty good about this
yeah. I'm glad to hear that she's doing pretty well all things considered. I hadn't really known what had happened to her after that. Any time I see anyone mention rabies survivors they always act like the surviving is worse than dying. wildly incorrect it turns out
she's very young so she was probably just parroting something someone told her about an era she does not remember
I don't know, youtubers are weird
maybe. those vaccines are very expensive and rough and take weeks and by the time you're showing symptoms it's too late anyway. but still. good god
A good reason to not have indoor/outdoor cats is one time in the late 80s my cat, Frankie, trotted in from outside holding something in his mouth, which he proudly dropped at my dad's feet. IT WAS A LIVE BAT!! idk what happened after that I was ushered from the room very quickly
man. specialists! Still though, that's kinda dumb
yeah I'm pretty sure bats = rabies has been in the zeitgeist for forever. Just like foaming dogs.
semi related sometimes I watch these british ghost guys on YT and occasionally in the abandoned building they're in they'll be like "Oh look a bat." like it's no big deal and man must be nice to live in a rabies free zone
