i was at in-patient once and another patient’s voice sounded eerily similar to my dad’s voice i discussed w/ my therapist and we came up w/ plans for how *I* could respectfully and privately deal with *my* discomfort he wasnt encroaching on my rights for sharing a characteristic w/ an abuser
