to a lot of Americans, that might sound scary at first but consider; you don't actually technically actually own your land and the government can seize it right now if they want and also, the upsides of nobody having to pay for housing is.. you know.... WAY more humane than our current system

yeah, tbh I'm just in favor of a more like... complete overhaul and the government owns housing and you just submit an application and be like "I'm planning on moving to x City in 3 months, help me out" and then the government is like "here are your options". but I think under capitalism what u said

it's honestly the perfect time to organize an American communist party. Communism is hip with the kids and the green party has clearly shown that it only cares about spoiling elections, not actually winning any.

American liberalism is the fucking best ideology for using platitude bandaids to avoid fixing the root of any issue. American liberals will kick and scream at the thought of true democracy, eliminating poverty, and not profiting off of cheap labor.
