I'd rather see a push for lossless audio files (FLAC, Apple Lossless, etc) as more commonplace, but guess streaming (and 320 kbps MP3s as good enough for most) has eclipsed that.

At least buy CDs if you're going for older tech... at least those were high quality audio that can be turned into MP3s. Modern music choices being "endless subscription to a service propping up Joe Rogan, own nothing" or "outdated and expensive format that wears out over time" is... something.
