"But I need it for news!" Ignoring the multiple other ways to keep up with news/sites: Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Tumblr, Mastodon, Bluesky, RSS readers (which still exist), Apple News/Google News apps, blogs, email newsletters, etc. They all have their flaws, but beat Twitter's current state?

Also a) news organizations and governments clearly aren't lacking I ways to inform people and b) activism/self promotion/following celebrities, sports, fellow members of a specific group, etc. existed before Twiiter, and surely can exist outside it.
