In light of recent announcements, I’d like to remind people of Nippon Icchi’s more serious side. While both have a few edgelord tendencies (Soul Nomad way more than Phantom Brave), both have a strong streak of sincerity that makes them interesting compared to their sibling series Disgaea.
Isn’t the “and” part usually obvious? “And the message of their creative work was usually one promoting good morals”. No one is surprised if the creator of Murder Simulator is a POS. But it is STILL surprising that the person credited with creating Buffy was such a terrible creep.
