I've finally read this proposal in full. It's great. The UK should do this. And the EU. And if the EU doesn't, Germany should do it on its own.

Really remarkable how the German debate singles out the current German government because of the crisis in the car industry. I don't remember the 🚦 doubling down on China or Russian energy. I don't remember them postponing the EV transition, or failing to invest in charging infra.
