The entire goal of the "AI" industry is to achieve Jack Welch's wet dream — to render all employees fungible. The managerial class *despise* the fact that there are skilled creative workers that cannot be interchanged like widgets. "AI" promises them that they'll never need pay them again.

And in the entertainment industry context, moves on from CGI to realize the dream of never having to employ (and pay) human writers again.

Maybe if they had skills, they'd feel differently.
