we collaborated with @BobNichollsArt on @EdiacaraDani most recent paper doi.org/10.1016/j.is... by testing Bobs 3D sculpts in simulated flows with fabulous results. A reminder to consider including palaeo-artists as a co-authors. Bob was paid but also contributed intellectually, so he is an author

Very cool. i wonder if this might be more common in the proterozoic before more extensive clay formation in more modern type soils and by bioturbationā€¦. Intuitively fine grained proterozoic sediments should be less cohesive

Love how my office looks this #FossilFriday#Ediacaran casts from my new Inner Meadow/Coombs Surface ready to photograph. We have been quiet about it as we work to purchase the land for our research & to preserve it for future generations. All done now, exciting times! Just need more students!
