Is this about storm surge and precipitation? I saw one of the local meteorologists report that it’s expected to drop to cat 3 by the time it hits Florida (Yucatán is getting the cat 5 winds)

It looks like the eyewall is going to make a direct hit on Tampa St-Pete, so we’re talking horrific winds and big storm surge hitting a densely populated urban area. Nightmare scenario if the track holds.

Storm surge for sure, anyone in the storm surge area needs to get out, than going to be a lot of inland flooding, grounds already thick with water from the ongoing rains. Than the tornado risk in the southern half of the red area. Finally the 60+mph winds through the core with gusts reaching over 80

Rain earlier today, was raining constantly for about half the day. Lot of the yards are waterlogged, pots and buckets left out are full, some of the drainage systems are already overflowing.
