The cross-hairs When you engage with the sculpture by looking through the sights, consider this: The last time that a rhino is seen alive is through the sights of a poacher's rifle. The sculpture is spread over 41 metres to emphasise the iconic status of the rhino, but when you look through the crosshairs, the parts blend together and appear flat to remind us that once all rhinos have bee poached, this is all we have left.
