I thought I'd leave this here: journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/... "The conceptual correspondence IMMIGRANTS ARE ANIMALS is racist. It belittles immigrants as it separates non-citizens and citizens, since it assigns them a less-than-human standing."
