If you operate a system that depends on the finance or goodwill of the very rich, this kind of action is unavoidable. It's part of the plan to keep things the same, called "conservatism" 😱

No kidding, Peter, but there are a lot of students, staff, and faculty who played no part in operating the system this way (and would certainly support an alternative) whose real lives and livelihoods are affected by this.
