The fundamental problem with US Democracy, is that we’ve had it too easy for too long. No one really believes in their bones that their vote is going to materially impact their lives (for better or worse). Roe was a wake up call to many, but not nearly enough.

Genuinely shocked (in a good way) by the republican endorsements of Harris. If people like cheney and flake (and to a lesser degree Hogan) are coming out and endorsing, that implies a lot of other moderate republicans don’t want anything to do with trump and his politics.
