Oh, this is a delightfully silly-looking mix of action and city builder. Your little ruler can pick up and throw entire houses, run across water and spin so fast they bloody fly. store.steampowered.com/app/1133500/...
Deeply sad news from the Quake community today. Dustin "Tronyn" Geeraert has passed away at 42. His signature giant maps made him stand tall amongst the best mappers. You can find his work below, play a map or two and honour him - www.quaddicted.com/reviews/?fil...
Yeah, for a while on Twitter I'd been pausing to question whether it's worth the potential flak a lot of stuff would invite. Only been a couple days but it doesn't feel like the same kind of pressure here.Yeah, for a while on Twitter I'd been pausing to question whether it's worth the potential flak a lot of stuff would invite. I feel like you're carrying out some kind of dark ritual to bring the bad spirits of Twitter to these new lands. Speaking them back into existence. I'm torn on whether to encourage these shenanigans or ask you to knock it the fuck off.I feel like you're carrying out some kind of dark ritual to bring the bad spirits of Twitter to these new lands. Hi new followers! I was narrative co-lead on Spry Fox's Cozy Grove and lead writer of Pine Hearts. In my free time, I write creepy Twine games and novellas. Looking for work!
The Dark Mod is such a great platform now. I'm honestly surprised that more of the Thief mod scene hasn't moved over, as it's pretty powerful now.The Dark Mod is such a great platform now. I'm honestly surprised that more of the Thief mod scene hasn't moved over, as it's pretty powerful now.
Guess an intro post is customary here, so hey, I'm Dominic! I'm a freelance games journo type that covers a lot of indie stuff, mods, and fringe, obscure games. I mostly write for PC Gamer lately, and folks say they love my hidden gem roundups. Their wallets hate 'em www.pcgamer.com/gaming-indus...
So many incredible under-the-radar indies have come out this year, from roguelikes to experimental horror to "UI strategy hell," we had trouble keeping the list to just 20.
I'm doing my best to re-follow everyone from Twitter here! Thanks.I'm doing my best to re-follow everyone from Twitter here! Thanks.
For anyone finding me for the first time, I'm scwiba and I make maps for Doom engine games! My most well-known is probably The UnMaking for Doom 64: unmake.mewww.doomworld.com/forum/topic/...
The demo is all the tutorial stages (introducing each of the puzzle mechanics and gadgets) and then the first proper stage from the full game. That full stage is what really sold me. It feels like a proper exam, expecting both players to react quickly to cover each other from color-coded dangers. The demo is all the tutorial stages (introducing each of the puzzle mechanics and gadgets) and then the first proper stage from the full game.
