One of the (many) reasons it's so annoying to me when people get all righteous, like, "only a BAD person would identify with this VILLAIN character" is that like, idk, for decades the villains were all queer-coded, so yes, I DO identify with the dude in heavy eyeliner being bitchy at the boring hero
