A simple llama with a simple request, that I wholeheartedly second.
The longer I live, the more I realize one thing. Focusing on the gameplay to the detraction of the graphics makes a better, longer lasting game. Function over form. People LOVE Dwarf Fortress, yet at it's core it's literally just interactive ASCII art (focus on mechanics first, graphics later)
Honestly, same. There are short, sweet indie games like Tunic that hold infinitely more creativity and fun for me than all the triple-A overproduced schlock out there.
What about the weenies though?
I feel like a much longer wait for a big, deep game with a large amount of replay value is just as good. One Fallout New Vegas every five years is MUCH better than a new COD every year
Honestly, that’s not a bad thing.
