So far the impressions on DT 900 Pro X in context of having used DT 770 Pro's: - Way flatter sounding - Less "exciting" - More accurate freq spectrum placement - Wider stage, but not on par with that of 1990's - Accurate soundstage placement - Benefits from slight correction

Overall, feels familiar and sounds familiar - but better for the specific use case. Feeling pretty settled for now having the 770 Pro and 900 Pro X combo. Would upgrade 900's to 1990 in the future or similar in the higher end. Don't feel the need to upgrade 770's.

Totally see myself using these to mix and listen, but for tracking I'll keep using 770 Pro's because of good isolation. Comfort wise - going to be personal. I find these as comfy as 770's, maybe slightly more. Obvs need to break them in more.
