Why do people do this? Like we saw it with the heat waves up north, the deep freezes down south, and hurricanes where they don't normally go " Oh why are y'all acting like jts such a big deal happens here all the time" because these places aren't prepared for that!!! It's abnormal!!

Exactly! I froze to death in Florida at 40F because the houses are all built to stay cool, not warm. Same with the clothes in the closet. In New England, where I live now, 32F feels like a day at the beach, and coat-optional. People break out the shorts at 50F.
