But covid, to me, has been far more traumatic because of the number of people that have died or been permanently affected by it. Kinda weird how the country didn't band together on that one. Huh. Wonder why that is.

It's possible to be traumatized by 9/11 and think joking about it sucks *AND* loathe the US reaction to it, be incredibly disgusted by the US bombing innocent people in "retaliation", and loathe the disgusting jingoism that came out of it. Wild, to me, that so many people find this concept baffling.
