On audio: Adrian Tchaikovsky’s The Air War, book 8 of his incredible Shadows of the Apt epic fantasy series. On paper: Saint Death’s Daughter by C.S.E. Cooney, whose prose and characters are beyond delightful. Needless to say, I’m loving both books!
Great choices! Tchaikovsky's words do so well on audio, but Cooney's prose is also a delight, and sitting with it visually is an instructive treat for sure!
