Also, it's admitting you believe we can't just pay for everything, which is inherently self defeating on the left. Our domestic economic aid is not on a budget, it pays for itself!

It is just theoretically possible that you should maybe use an argument that can't be used to argue against more normal forms of foreign aid too. But again, this is me nitpicking, and I am conscious of this, and you do not have to point that out to me.

I get the sentiment but it's way too close to domestic right-wing verbiage to be comfortable but some of them are *also* saying this about Ukraine so really, they're giving the game away. Wouldn't surprise me if they want Hukou here as well which blows a hole in their immigration rhetoric
