The last illustration with Oksi. I mentioned earlier that she was planned as a secondary character for my comic, but I decided not to include her in the story. So, she lost her connection to any world, but that's in line with her character: she lost her leg, her brother, and her entire world.
Here is the first page of 2nd issue from my comic "End Point". Next pages still under development :) It will be awesome if you share this post or support my work on Ko-fi: ko-fi.com/dprokhorenko
The symbol on Oksi's jacket is one of the variations of the letter Omega. This was the nickname of her brother, whom she lost. At that time, she referred to herself as Ksi. After losing her brother, she almost always wears his jacket, carrying a piece of him with her.
Here we were looking for the right look for Oksi. Sheâs an ordinary girl who works as a mechanic and/or an operator/pilot of small work ships or those huge mechanical arms from the previous post.
I'll tell you a little about Oksi. In her childhood, she was involved in an incident that injured her legs. She completely lost her left foot, and while her right leg looks intact, it sometimes loses sensitivity, which is why she has to wear an exoskeleton for that leg (mostly as a precaution).
This is Oksi. She (along with a few other characters) was supposed to play a secondary role in the comic "End Point", but I decided to focus solely on the main storyline and abandoned any secondary narratives.
The last page of this mini-comic. Now we say goodbye to these characters for an indefinite time. Someday, I'll return to them again.
Page 2 out of 3 of this mini comic. Yes, it turned out quite short, and it's literally just one scene. I might have done it a bit differently now. Though I'm not sure if I would have shortened or expanded it.
Weâre not straying far from the characters of the previous mini-comic. Here, theyâre already in a home-like setting. Though, to be honest, Iâm not sure what the word âhomeâ even means to them. After all, they can literally end up anywhere in just a moment.
