A police officer just came up to me and said two folks have called the cops on me citing: An individual in a bright SUV (blue Mustang MachE) with binoculars and camera equipment… I ask, “should I not be here?” He responds, “no, you are absolutely allowed to do what you are doing…, I don’t get it”

And I thought California was a bubble… an exception to what seems to be the “norm” elsewhere… I’m curious about the exact words they used in their complaint…

I was on the beach on the Silver strand one time in a place I was allowed to be near military base w/my camera & binoculars facing the ocean & some jerk jogger in sweats came up and asked me what I was doing and told me he was with the military. I said “Soooooooo?” Sorry that happened to you .
