I was listening to the likes of Pan-Thy-Monium and Alchemist in the mid-90s which is maybe why I don't click with BI. I guess it's pretty much the same reaction for people hearing them now, but it's nothing really new for me. And I'm a huge advocate for new bands and modern music, not stuck in 90s.
It sounds quite nice, but a bit safe. I guess my metal liking has always been sporadic, and ever so slightly random - so lots of gaps
