Lola Thunderpaws (who is 14, and a doggo) had to get chest x-rays today to try to figure out why she has this chronic and horrid sounding cough. Techs said nothing immediately alarming was spotted but we'll know more in a few hours. Getting old sucks as much for dogs as it does for us.
It's a lot of money but I figure I just keep my current phone for another cycle or put off the iPad upgrade I was thinking about. Either of those will offset the cost of the Pro. It's all about what personal priorities.
I pre-ordered a PS5 Pro after watching a Digital Foundry video based on a hands-on event & the DF guys said [paraphrasing] "The PS5 Pro is for gamers who constantly agonize over whether to play in Performance mode or Quality mode" and that is SO MUCH ME.

I remember when I used to look forward to September for those cool autumn days. Those ended and I got to where I'd look forward to October for those cool autumn days. *sigh* I guess now it's November? Our A/C is still running pretty steady during the day here in October! Friggin' climate change!
Hoarding has apparently begun here in Raleigh, NC. Or maybe people just suddenly REALLY need toilet paper this week. We assume it is due to panic around the dock workers strike.
Younger players with better reflexes and hand-to-eye coordination probably won't be the least bit bothered by the difficulty spike. It still wasn't "Hard" just harder than the rest of the game & required better reflexes than my old broken down body and arthritic hands can muster easily.
Roll end credits on The Plucky Squire. Despite what HowLongToBeat says, it took me 18 hours, of which 17 were really fun & chill & charming and then the final hour was just frustration. (I hate when games have that final difficulty spike just before the end.)
