But, the inside of the first batch was really good - and got scooped out and eaten with spoons. The wax layer was that thick. 😂🐝

They vaporized... my first batch (which I do have photos of) are not pretty, and the beeswax layer was way too thick. It took three attempts to figure out the coating technique.

After several (numerous) failures this weekend, I'm proud to say that I was able to make canneles (or caneles)! (I forgot to take pictures of the end result - and they are all gone...) #homemade#baking#pastry
