This sketchbook’s been one heck of an anchor point for me to hold onto. Esp these past few years. Unexpected, but unsurprising. I suppose that’s how habits are, once they become. Good and bad drawings—they all go in, and each and every one is another step I look forward to.

Having unintentionally set a bar of completing one page per month has really helped me with moving forward through slower weeks, and it’s been all the more gratifying to have weeks like this, where there are a few more chances to draw some folks. Weird, it’s like setting goals is constructive 🤪
