Absolutely - I think what would have helped me was knowing who needed to know what and how that info would be communicated to those who needed to know (/that it would be). My school is brilliant with appointments etc., and my anxieties were unfounded, but I didn't know that before I started.
Not knowing who to go through my medical history with - HR, OH, HT and having to have the cancer conversation over and over. My last move was to a school only just opening - so HT, AVP and 5 staff!
