Maybe, but many of the comments I saw on xitter were asking “why” or remarking on “how gay” it was, and how it was a disgrace to the flag’s feelings 🙄

Yeah, that's unsurprising. Religion used to be a field on Greek identity cards; when that was changed, there were massive rallies, during which the archbishop of Athens said "next they will take the cross off the Greek flag" -- now the new biometric IDs apparently include the number of the beast
