So, in English, for instance, instead of saying "stand", you say "sltlalnld". Genius. I'd tried to use the same technique in one of the songs in my epic fantasy, CLINGING TO THE STONES. I'm not sure if it'll feature in the final draft following extensive revisions... 4/n
In this method, letters are flipped in every word, so the letter "Waw" (O in English) is replaced by "Alef" (A), for example. Additionally, in this song in particular, the letter "Lam" (L) is added after every other letter... 3/n
The story begins in 1937, during the British Mandate for Palestine. When the Palestinians fought back, the British tried to cut all kinds of communications between towns. Women, then, invented an encrypted way to send news to their rebel sons & the song was born 2/n
I believe the Norwegian Refugee Council is one of those organisations. Not sure how they would be able to help, though, due to lack of humanitarian access to the strip.
Yeah, the Knights of Ren were a huge let down.
