5. athrun zala gundam seed seed is probably my favorite gundam. i love athrun so much. he's a goddamn mess and a perpetual FUMBLER however i love him for it. also him and kira are arguably gay so take that watch gundam seed. you dont need to watch any other gundams to understand it
4. KAI TOSHIKI cardfight vanguard (brown haired one in images) SPEAKING of bitches with mental health issues MAN kai has a lot. but he's one of my favorites because he really evolves over the course of the show to someone who comes to cherish his friends. i love him so much and hes gay. watch cfv
3. chrono shindo from cardfight vanguard (g) PLEASE excuse the card game anime protag hair. he's one of my favorite protags even if he does give me secondhand embarrassment. he's a character that struggles with mental health issues and i love him for it watch cardfight vanguard
2. shirayuki from shirayuki with the red hair ive seen this anime probably about 6 times and it never ceases to entertain me, it's a really good pick me up and its so cute. shirayuki herself is so uplifting and just loves the world around her. its a really good watch
