I think it's just a manifestation of the usual "Jews are the zeitgeist evil" and this time the zeitgeist evil is "colonialism" therefore Jews are colonialism. Facts have precious little to do with it.

That's the white rich version but the Palestinian version is full of low jealousy and the Jewish version is just ignorant.
