...The main thing I remember is that the sort of content we expected to land well didn't always do so, but stuff we didn't expect to resonate with students sometimes got the best responses. Sorry, that's a bit unhelpfully vague 🤦🏻♀️
@stevepuk.bsky.social wrote something ages ago when we had a social media working group at the OU - you still have the link, Steve? It would be interesting to see how well it's aged. I did some work around the same time with another colleague analysing the impact of tweets on a specific module...
Did you agree with its findings?
Tune! Haven't heard that in *years*
Still thinking about our wonderful camping trip to Suffolk last week. B/f took advantage of the low light pollution and did some astrophotography while we were there, so here's a composite showing the Milky Way above our tent! Obviously you couldn't see that with the naked eye, but it's legit data.
Ugh, if you're on LinkedIn, head over there now and turn off the new AI training setting they quietly opted everyone into. Here's the direct link if it works for you, if not, follow the instructions below. www.linkedin.com/mypreference...
A bit chilly at night, but we had this bad boy outside the tent to keep us toasty while gazing up at the stars, and the lovely campsite owners are thoughtful and generous 😁 Plus Suffolk is a really beautiful part of the UK. Hope the rest of your trip was fun!
Hello lovely new followers, lured here by that @suebecks.bsky.social & her education starter pack, I suspect! Going camping straight after a week in Manchester for ALT-C means I'm now frantically trying to catch up & meet various deadlines, but I'm looking forward to checking out your profiles soon.
Our first time. It's really lovely.
