I’ve come onto campus for a day. The face to face meeting I’m here for is delayed as someone is stuck on the motorway. Everyone else in the open plan area are in Teams meetings. The noise is incredible. Reminds me of when I worked in a call centre. Not sure this is more productive than remote.

In London this morning I caught one of the bands of the Foot Guards warming up at their barracks. Very impressive. Particularly as they did the theme tune to one of my favourite 70s kids cartoons, ‘Battle of the Planets’.
