Recent mismanagement of political stories ahead of the election, and other issues, have led Drew Magary to say that the New York Times is no longer relevant.
I would not say the Times is unfair to Harris for saying this is a close race. Her campaign strategy is to say the same thing, and that she is the underdog. Bret Stephens is another matter, but he's just one columnist.
