Catching up on @mythsbaby.bsky.social's podcast, I too have to ask: Where's my horror movie version of "The Bacchae"?

Xena: Warrior Princess had a horror episode with Bacchae that was truly awful (including them mangling words trying to say lines with fake fangs in their mouths). For a closer treatment, you could try the Yellowjackets show. But yeah, old-school Greek myth would have me on board.
