Doctor here: this would be better suited for a sports therapist or podiatrist than a GP. Depending on your plan you’ll prob pay out of pocket, but you’ll be more likely to get an answer and appropriate treatment if it’s needed.

(Also a runner in my mid 40s with all manner of weird popping and aching going on. Sports PTs are great for these things.)
