I always say I'd rather see an interesting bad movie than a "good" movie that's just like every other movie.

It doesn’t make daily news, the long plodding work of actually implementing environmental policy, since all the positive effects occur over stretches. But over time, and across the country in relatively non-partisan fashion, America’s air really improved tremendously – see this EPA chart

Screenshot of EPA website stating “Air Quality Trends Show Clean Air Progress”
Nationally, concentrations of air pollutants have dropped significantly since 1990:
• Carbon Monoxide (CO) 8-Hour, * 79%
• Lead (Pb) 3-Month Average, * 85% (from 2010)
• Nitrogen Dioxide (NOz) Annual, * 61%
• Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) 1-Hour, * 54%
• Ozone (03) 8-Hour, * 21%
• Particulate Matter 10 microns (PM10) 24-Hour, * 32%
• Particulate Matter 2.5 microns (PM2.5) Annual, * 37% (from 2000)
• Particulate Matter 2.5 microns (PM2.5) 24-Hour, * 33% (from 2000)
• Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) 1-Hour, * 91%
• Numerous air toxics have declined with percentages varying by pollutant
Despite increases in air concentrations of pollutants associated with fires, carbon monoxide and particle pollution, national average air quality concentrations remain below the current, national standards.

Unfortunately I can only exist on here once, but I'm working on it! :P

They lack the spirit of a true grifter. When you want to make a ton of money in tech, don't do something that requires you to actually build something!

Think of how lazy you have to be to get your hair cut and think, "I could crank out a couple hundred words here."

A lot of the changes businesses do isn't because it's better, it's because an executive somewhere needs to justify their existence by spearheading a project like this.

Great ep! Maybe it's too much New York, but I'd love an ep about how "Broken Windows" transformed from an academic essay with no evidence to "Science says we have to create zones where civil rights don't apply."
