It’s also worth noting the nominal (but not significant) *increase* in severe obesity (BMI>40), the group in theory would be among the most likely to be prescribed drugs like Ozempic/Wegovy for diabetes or weight loss. 4/

The @data.ft.com figure by education does look compelling, & consistent w/ media narrative that mildly obese well-off folks are the ones taking up the drugs. But the statistical precision for subgroups would be even less, so I'm also hesistant to read too much into this differential trend. 5/
