With what I already knew about Elagabalus, I cannot say I find this the least bit surprising.
Fun fact: she actually gets a line in the Major General song. ("I quote in elegiacs all the crimes of Heliogabalus")
It sucks that they got one of the really bad one though.
Shame it had to be Elagabalus. If they knew even the tiniest amount of Roman history, the GCs would have a field day given Elagabalus' record as emperor.

I didn't know about her, but it's more proof that trans people have always been with us.
I'm not sure it's a win - Elagabalus is regarded by many historians as one of the worst emperors of all time.
