I think Goob would try to eat a moogle but also knows it’s forbidden. Also they’re fast and shifty
Goob and Zenos never really interacted but I feel like Zenos would respect goob’s tendency to just sometimes bite people or scrap with critters. Sometimes goobs just gotta bite.
Baby Goob took to Haurchefant instantly. He also liked Count Edmont a lot. He tries to eat Emmanellain’s shoes and throws things at him. Emmanellain does not know what he did wrong but by the end of HW he and Goob have a friendly rivalry and Emmy secretly misses baby Goob.
One day, when he is big, he might have to go hang out with the sylphs. For now, though, he is content to hang on in hooded cloaks, various bags and run amok with urchin children in various locales
In my head, baby Goob has the personality of a less expressive Stitch and since goobs have stretchy arms, can hang off his Mom/Dad like the sloth in the croods. He will climb on people he likes.
When Kei is out adventuring and it is too dangerous for baby goobs, Tataru is the authorized babysitter. She feeds him extra treats. Nobody actually knows what gender Baby Goob is, but collectively refer to him with masculine pronouns. His favorite food is rats.
I am cringe and like many FFXIV players have lore in my head about my WoL, but especially about this little dude. After the momma goob was killed, he imprinted on Kei like a duckling. Kei is his Mom. The scions are his herd. His least favorite person is Emmanellain for reasons nobody really knows.
Yesterday was the second Goobiversary. I never expected an in game minion to alter my brain chemistry like this little guy did. Brings me a lot of joy. It’s the little things!
Trying to post here more since the other app is once again descending into hell. Every expansion gives me my son making a fear face and dawntrail was no exception
