The debate is irritating, because Vance is blatantly lying about his policies, Donald Trump's policies, Kamala Harris' policies, and Tim Walz's policies. It's hard to fight back against a smug sociopath.

There is no point in debating liars, and I wish Democrats would stop trying. The gish gallop (a torrent of lies so numerous and overwhelming that the opponent can't fact check them) wins every time. Harris beat Trump because she could target his narcissism. Vance doesn't share that vulnerability.
