Why why why do cafés put serviettes UNDER the food you're about to eat, ensuring that they are soiled before you even use them? I don't understand it!
I often ask the staff for extra serviettes and declare "I'm a very messy eater. " They're probably too embarrassed to refuse.
Omg right? Just why? Put it under the plate!
