Saw The Wild Robot a few days back. Didn't care much for it. I've had time to think about it. For me, the humor gets in the way of the storytelling. It gives us an emotional moment, it tries to make me care for the characters, and then someone drops a goofy one-liner and I just cringe...
They made us sign NDAs. It was too graphic...
My wife, @rosaposer.bsky.social, has found the butterfly! This is her cosplaying as Millie from Helluva Boss for a convention six months ago. The photo was taken at 7am so we were too tired to give a shit about proper lighting...
If anyone is thinking about following me, I like to talk about: Cartoon Network (old stuff mostly) Pokémon Sonic the Hedgehog Physical Media Disney Vintage UK television Other random nonsense... You can follow me for these, but I'm more likely to barge into random discussions like I own the place!
People is sharing art! This isn't mine, it's my wife's, but since she hasn't encountered the blue butterfly, I figured I might as well exploit her. On the left is the result of a 30 minute drawing challenge I gave her a few years back. On the right is a custom tattoo she got two months ago.
I remember, one time in high school, I actively tried to stay up for 24 hours. I was 16, I had school the next day, but I wasn't thinking logically. I had Cartoon Network and YouTube and shit to last me the night... I made it. I fell asleep in art class the next day. Don't sacrifice sleep, kids.
Time to see how many people I can alienate... I liked pineapple on pizza before it became controversial. 17 YEARS AND COUNTING!!! I remember the mid-2000s. Order a pineapple pizza from Domino's every Tuesday (2-for-1!!!) and watch two hours of The Simpsons on Sky 1. Good times!!
ALT: a pizza with pineapple , ham , cheese and bacon is sitting on a pan on a table .
Imagine if all these changes Elon was making to turn Twitter into the biggest shithole on the internet was all a ruse to get us to spend less time on social media and embrace the beauty of the real world... Then you come back to reality and remember Elon Musk ain't clever enough to pull that off...
Don't mind me, I'm just applying some Critical Human repellant to my new account. This is as effective as applying garlic, wolfsbane and crucifixes to your front door to ward off vampires. Guaranteed 100% effectiveness... In all seriousness, as a lifelong Tom and Jerry fan, I despise this film.
