It seems to me like the people who spent $600 for a Magic card are becoming aware that they're actually the Emperors with a breezy new wardrobe. I empathize with them, but have no sympathy.

I have exactly the same take. I had all of the cards that were banned and I lost about $400 overnight, (depending where you go) and I'm more excited then ever to play the game.
